In July 2008, a trip to Toronto (Canada) brought about changes in his personal and professional path. He was there so he could intern next to Conrad Marin, chairman of CMM Design Associates, and it was this collaboration that made him fall in love with the materials and their specialties. In fact, after returning to Italy, he decided to continue his studies in the product design department. In order to do this, and to continue the project in Canada, in January 2009 he officially joined Favaretto & Partners as an integral part of the studio. In 2010, he was shortlisted for the "Youth & Design Award" for the first "Orientation Office Conference Chair" (RA project designed by TMA ITALIA Enterprise); in 2012, he was recognized by "SOFTLINE" for the "Concave Stool". Since 2015 he became the creative director of Favaretto & Partners, the activities of the studio have further expanded and now cover all fields from industrial design to furniture, from tangible to digital, and have won several international awards such as Reddot, iF, GoodDesign, German Design Award, INNOVATIVE INTERIOR, HIP, etc.
Macaco is the life that Mr. Francesco Favaretto gave it to Nikynaky.
The existence form of each product may be different in size, but the emotional resonance brought by it will not change because of the different form, which is also the significance of Macaco.
Macaco represents our confidence in the quality of our products. It infuses our emotions into each product, endows our industrial products with soul and evolves into unique works.
